Hello, we are Samantha and Dave, and we thank you for your interest in our beautiful venue. Here’s what inspired us to create Revival on Main, a place for our community and beyond to celebrate those special milestones in life. After visiting numerous unique establishments in Charleston, South Carolina, we realized that if the opportunity arose to own something so distinctive upon our return home, we would seize it. With three daughters between us, we understood the need for a space dedicated solely to special events, something more than a firehall typically used for wedding receptions on weekends.

The chance arose with the unfortunate closure of St. Thomas Catholic Church, which perfectly aligned with our vision. We acquired the church in October 2020 and immediately set to work on its revival. Taking on such a significant project was no small feat for just two people, especially since we were already juggling other businesses and commitments. However, we persevered and successfully completed the lower level, hosting our first event there in September 2021. The success of that event truly inspired us to continue our efforts and get busy completing the upstairs. We finished in May 2024, with the first wedding reception being held that same month. We would be honored to be the host venue for your next event.
